Camille Risi Awarded the CNRS Bronze Medal

Camille Risi, a researcher at the Dynamic Meteorology Laboratory (LMD*), has won the 2016 CNRS** bronze medal.

A member of the LMD since 2011, Camille Risi evaluates the realism of the models used for climate projections by measuring the isotopic composition of water. This is done in three stages: first, the assessment of atmospheric processes (such as clouds and storms), next a study of the continental water cycle, and the exploitation of the isotopic composition recorded in paleoclimatic archives to reconstruct past climate changes and finally testing the ability of models to simulate such changes.
